Mystics point guard Tayler Hill will not play in the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL Friday night against Indiana Fever.
Hill, who was averaging 13.3 points and 2.6 assists this season, had to be carried off of the floor in the Mystics’ 72-58 win on the road. This is a tough blow for Washington, as she has blossomed throughout her four years of being in the pros. One of the positives however is that the Mystics does have a bench who can provide some help in her absence. This can also mean more playing time for rookies Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Jennie Simms.
The Mystics face the New York Liberty Sunday at 3 p.m. Elena Delle Donne will also not be playing today after suffering an ankle injury in Friday’s game.
